About ECSL

East Coast School of Languages (ECSL) has been offering personal ESL training since 1998. Our students say we we’re not only a school, we’re a family.

We are located in the heart of Halifax, the capital city of Nova Scotia. Halifax is a safe, friendly city that combines historic charm with modernconveniences.

At ECSL we provide students with a warm and welcoming facility and qualified, experienced instructors. We have 10 bright classrooms overlooking Halifax harbour to comfortably accommodate our small class sizes of, on average, 8 to 10 per class. Students can relax in our spacious student lounge, use our high-speed computer lab, or take advantage of our wireless service with their own laptops.

Our strict English-Only Policy means that students must speak English at all times within the school.
