Hello! My name is Patrice Cossette from Quebec, Canada. To improve my English, I needed a real immersion. I wanted good teachers, good courses with a good homestay family. I found it at ECSL in Halifax and more! I discovered new friends from different countries around the world. I also discovered a nice city with a lot of nice restaurants and pubs. During the evenings and the weekends, my homestay family was wonderful. ECSL: a real good English school!

Hello! My name is Debbie. I am from Toronto, Ontario and moved to Halifax with my family when I was a teenager. After graduating from high school, I spent a year living and working in Sri Lanka. I enjoy travelling and learning about other cultures so I quickly repacked my knapsack and headed to Europe, touring around with some friends! I have lived in many places in Canada and have also had the great experience of travelling across Canada. My husband and I enjoy having the opportunity to be homestay parents and have many fond memories from this experience. I enjoy working at ECSL, getting to know the students and see the growth they all experience while being in Halifax. In my free time I enjoy camping, gardening, reading and playing with my dogs, Tess and Kylie.
