ECSL Helps Entrepreneurs Around the World
ECSL is helping small businesses around the world by making loans through Kiva. So far we have supported 10 companies in Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, El Salvador, Mexico, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. Congratulations to ECSL Graduates!
On Thursday 24th June, 18 students graduated from our University Achievement Program and are on their way to university! This is a fantastic achievement and comes about only by hard work and dedication from the students.Graduates will be going to SMU, Dalhousie and NSCAD Universities. We wish them great success in the next part of their study-adventure in Nova Scotia.
A rocking weekend in Halifax!
What a great weekend we had for our spectacular rock concert. Saturday was sunny and hot and thousands of people joined in the concert on the Commons. People enjoyed the Black Eyed Peas as well as other local musicians. Halifax is the place to be in the summer!
Halifax is having a birthday!
We will be celebrating Halifax\'s birthday (Natal Day) on the first weekend of August. Monday August 2nd is a holiday and school will be closed. Join in the fun of the holiday by walking over the bridge, watching the parade and enjoying the fireworks! School opens again on Tuesday 3rd at 8 am.
