Experience the Adventure!

East Coast Language Camp offers 4 and 6-week English adventure camps for kids, teens and adults in scenic Nova Scotia- a seaside province known for its undiscovered natural beauty. We’re not surprised if you have never heard of Nova Scotia. We consider our province to be Canada’s best-kept secret.

ECLC Program

We offer 3 hours per day of English as a Second Language instruction. Our ESL instructors are fully-qualified and experienced in leading dynamic and energetic classes. An appropriate curriculum is taught in small classes of 12-15 students. Our curriculum is designed to complement our afternoon and weekend social program making learning more relevant and meaningful.

ECLC Activities

With so much to see and do in Nova Scotia, our students are busy in and out of the classroom, receiving individual and small group attention and leadership. Students take part in a variety of cultural, recreational and social activities and excursions that highlight the very best of this incredibly beautiful province.

Customized Camp Programs

East Coast Language Camp offers two, four or six week customized programs that combine 15 hours per week of morning English language classes with special activities, carefully programmed based the needs of your special-interest group. Customized camp programs are available to groups of 10 or more students.Whatever your interest, ECLC will provide your group with dynamic and engaging ESL classes and unique and exciting social excursions.

Along with ESL classes, past programs have included specialized educational courses such as Internet technology, leadership training, journalism and theatre; and customized activities in athletics, fine arts, and team building.

Customized Camp Facilities

Camp location: Annapolis Basin Conference Centre

ECLC's rural location combines the best of camp living. The beauty of the campus and surrounding area can be seen from the modern and comfortable dormitories, classrooms and dining hall. A picturesque ocean view is never far away.

Students are housed in a twin room (with bathroom) with a student from another country (if possible). They are responsible for keeping their room clean.

Meals are cafeteria-style with many choices at each mealtime. They will also have access to the Internet so they will be able to keep in touch with families

Campers will have access to the Lifeplex fitness facility, (www.lifeplex.ca/index.html) which includes a swimming pool, walking track, fitness room, sauna, and exercise equipment, beside the camp. Students will receive a pass to this facility and will be able to visit it when they have free time.

Emergency services are 10 minutes away so parents can have peace of mind knowing their child is in a safe and caring environment.
