Through our unique curriculum designed to expose executives to practical, real business English program participants will develop valuable business English skills by:
- examining Nova Scotia businesses and developing English skills using a variety of authentic material and resources
- meeting Nova Scotian business owners and sharing business stories and successes at weekly Talk Business nights
- networking with Nova Scotian executives and business owners at weekly Lunch and Learn events
- practicing social English at sponsored social events, dining on delicious fresh Nova Scotia lobster, or playing a round of golf at one of Nova Scotia's many superior golf courses
25 HOURS OF CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION per week include:
- Oral Language Skills for Business
- Standard Business Writing including emails memos letters
- Social Conversation for Business Development
- Effective Telephone Manner
- Negotiation and Meeting Skills

Classes, social activities and accommodations are all located in the Annapolis Basin Conference Centre (ABCC) www.abcc.ca in Cornwallis Park. This centre is a quick two-hour drive from the Halifax International Airport and is the site of the world-famous Lester B. Pearson Peacekeeping Centre. It has extensive experience hosting meetings, international conferences and events for groups from 10 to 1000. Like ECSL, the staff at ABCC pride themselves on their passion, attention to detail and personal service.
